Daisuke Hashimoto

Director / Animation Airtist / Visual Artist / Co-Founder

He is the creative director and art director of LIL, creating the worldview of the brand. As a filmmaker and animation artist, he has worked on many TV commercials and music videos, but in recent years he has been involved in a wide range of content, focusing on the planning, production, and art direction of spatial digital art, stage performances, and entertainment shows that utilize new technologies such as projection mapping, large-scale LEDs, and interactivity. He launched LIL to broaden his scope of activities and pursue his own creativity. He has also been selected as one of the top 100 filmmakers for 19 consecutive years.

Producer / CEO / Co - Founder

After graduating from the School of Science and Technology at Meiji University, he worked in post-production and video production before founding LIL. He has produced a wide range of content, from video production centered around CG and VFX to video works using digital art, projection mapping, LED, and interactive spatial content. In recent years, he has been particularly involved in experiential spatial content.

Producer / Executive Director / Stage direction / Actor

He began his acting career at the age of 17, appearing in a wide range of productions including dramas, commercials, and stage plays. In recent years, he has also worked in casting and stage direction alongside his acting career. In 2020, he founded For Gimmick Co., Ltd. and began producing videos and art events. He has a tactile sense as both a producer and performer, and creates from a multifaceted perspective.

CTO / Technical Director / Engineer / Artist

He is involved in many technical art projects. While he often creates his own works, he is also adept at supporting artists in their creative endeavors. He specializes in digital control and interactive approaches, but aims to create things that incorporate an analog texture that adds depth to the comfort of the experience. He founded siro in 2015 and is involved in planning, prototyping, and development, from solving problems through engineering to realizing highly abstract images. He has also served as CTO of LIL since 2020.

Kouhei Miki

CG Producer

He specializes in video/CG production for commercials, movies, events, etc., and has worked on numerous video productions, including large-scale outdoor projection mapping projects, commercials, anime, and movies. In 2017, he founded HASH Inc. He specializes in the production of special effects and live-action composite videos and CG using 3DCG and VFX technology, and has produced commercials, movies, games, artist live performances, promotions, etc., while also working on many CG productions as a member of LIL.

Kohei Miki

Music producer / composer

Born in Boston, he completed a Master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. As a composer and music director, he has been involved in composing music for exhibitions and various video content. He has been responsible for the music of exhibitions at various art museums, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, the Pompidou Center, the Mori Art Museum, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Shanghai. In recent years, he has served as music director for "Haruka," a projection mapping event for Fukushima's reconstruction. He has been in charge since 2016, following in the footsteps of Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yoshihide Otomo. In 2018, he founded DRIFTER Inc. In pursuit of a new role for music in society, he is researching, creating, and presenting unprecedented forms of Japanese music through his work on Gagaku music and other projects. Since 2020, he has also been working as the music producer for LIL.

Keisuke Itoh

XR Artist

After graduating from Tama Art University's Department of Graphic Design, he worked as a graphic designer for a manufacturer before becoming an XR artist. He has presented his work at major international events, including the Venice International Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, and SIGGRAPH, and was selected for the Venice International Film Festival's XR category for six consecutive years from 2019 to 2024. His experiential XR animation "Sen" won the Grand Prix in the XR category at the Lumiere Japan Awards in 2024. He utilizes cutting-edge technology to pursue unique characters and a warm worldview. He has been working as the technical director of LIL since 2025.

Kojiro Kimura

Motiongraphic Designer / VFX Designer

After building his career as a motion graphic designer working on various TV commercials, live performance footage for artists, and music videos, he shifted to VFX after working on a film project. While his role as a motion design and VFX director increased as he worked on numerous filming locations as a VXF supervisor, he still works on many projects as a designer.

LIL Members

LIL is a creative studio that plans, directs, and produces content, focusing on video production, spatial production, stage production, animation, visual design, and sound design. In recent years, the studio has focused on planning, experience design, and production of entertainment shows using projection mapping, video displays at exhibitions and museums, and permanent exhibitions at commercial facilities and theme parks. Furthermore, by working closely with external partners, the studio comprehensively produces large-scale exhibitions and interactive productions that utilize new technologies, as well as the development and implementation of system construction.

PHILOSOPHY

We hope to continue creating experiences that stir the emotions of viewers with the overwhelming resonant power of visual effects and sound, and immerse them in surprise and excitement. We also proactively introduce new methods of expression and technology, always using production methods that combine digital and analog, in pursuit of production expressions that have lasting value in the long term through originality and universality.
