A new story began on July 19, 2025. After seven years of running, Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise's wildly popular night performance, "LIGHTIA," which combines dolphins and projection mapping, has been reborn on a grander scale. LIL was once again responsible for planning, composition, direction, and production. The "new LIGHTIA" is an immersive show that combines fantastic projection mapping with the dynamic movements of dolphins. Traveling through the past, present, and future, the dolphins tell a magnificent story that transcends time and space to make "miraculous flowers" bloom. The production has been significantly evolved with the addition of fantastical images, beautiful lighting, and fountain effects. Furthermore, the finale features the song "Haru" by the popular band Yorushika. Its melancholic yet powerful melody synchronizes with the miraculous story of life and light, enveloping all who watch.

Concept

Light connects the world. "LIGHTIA" depicts a story in which a "miracle flower" blooms as it travels through the past, present, and future, amidst the intersection of fantastical imagery and the pulse of life. The scattered lights are eventually reunited, appearing as the radiance of life itself. The images, lighting, and fountains unfold organically, traversing the water surface and space in all directions, and in response to the bodily expressions of the dolphins, create a space where "light itself seems to breathe and live."

Finale: Emotional Release

In the finale, Yorushika's song "Haru" (Sunny) envelops the space. Along with its melody, the story transcends mere visual experience, opening up more deeply and vividly into the realm of each viewer's emotions.

Boundless, continuous light

This work presents a single feeling: dolphins and humans. Though each is a different entity, at their core they are equally connected as "one light." This connection extends to the sea, the land, and all life, eventually connecting to the Earth and the universe. Everything is not separate, but continuous within one light.

This work is an experience that, by touching upon that feeling, reminds us of the fundamental joy of "being together" and the inherent kindness that the world possesses.
