Fukushima Projection Mapping
Haruka 2019 Boshin Wind Flower Clouds
- Singing "Flowers Bloom" with Kumiko Mori -
The projection mapping event "Haruka" has been held every year since 2013 in hopes of supporting the recovery of Fukushima and Tohoku following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The 7th year of the event will be held in 2019 at Tsuruga Castle in Aizuwakamatsu City. I was in charge of direction and animation again this year.
To allow as many people as possible to experience SAMURAI CITY Aizuwakamatsu, an upgraded version of "Boshin Wind, Flower Clouds," which was well-received in 2018, was screened. Continuing from last year, projection mapping was used to depict the "courage to face challenges" and "indomitable spirit" that live in Fukushima. The climax of the event was when singer Kumiko Mori appeared on the top floor of the castle tower, singing the reconstruction support song "Flowers Bloom," expressing her hopes for reconstruction.
